So I thought to myself, why go out and spend money when we pretty much have everything here to make it ourselves? So I posted a few pictures on facebook and some friends wanted the recipes.
Fried Rice:
- Make your rice and cool in the fridge
- brown your meat (we used steak, but anything would be good!)
- separate your meat onto a plate
- scramble two beaten eggs in your non-stick pan
- break them up into pieces
- add one cup of veggies
- add 2 tbsp soy sauce (we used way more)
- add cooled rice
- add browned meat
- cook 6-8 minutes or until veggies are tender
- add salt and pepper to taste
(I actually think it's orange, but whatever!)
- melt 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup mayo
- 3 tbsp white vinegar (I think it actually calls for rice vinegar but I couldn't find it)
- 3 tbsp sugar (I added a little more at the end to cancel out some of the vinegar)
- 3/4 tsp paprika
- 3/8 tsp garlic powder (about three pinches)
There's different recipes out there but I thought this one tasted pretty authentic! You can taste it after and tweak anything you want to! Enjoy!
