this weekend

This weekend consisted of ample outdoors time. We've all been stuck inside, sick. So, the best way to clear the air was to get outside. Saturday morning after waking up to an impeccably clean house we drove to Wrightsville Beach. What's better than living 10 minutes from the shore? Living on the shore. Eventually this is our goal. For now, we will settle with a short drive--

 

As you can see, he wasn't very happy to take pictures. he was too busy chasing "duhs" and  running full speed into the ocean. We're going to be very busy this summer chasing after him! It was insanley windy and cold but totally worth it! 

Later that afternoon my older sister Kelsie, came to town just for the night. It was great to see her. We all went to the neighborhood park & played.

We even saw Slade's favorite animal, in person-- "da da da duh!"

Such an awesome weekend, it definitely went by too fast!
