its....

The stomach flu...That's right people! Tuesday night i started feeling really crappy. I was nauseous, and i attributed it to morning sickness. This time was a little different though, because i actually vomited. Then, about an hour later I got sick again! I felt like this couldn't be right. ..I was sweating, my heart was racing, my whole body was shaking. It continued about every hour through the night, and I barely slept a wink. At 3am, I called my ob and she said it sounded like I had the GI bug that's been sweeping the state.

She was sooo right. Dane had to call out of work sick (which he's never done) because he caught it from being an amazing hubby, cleaning up all my puke. so romantic!

Thankfully I didn't even have to beg and they called in a script for promethazine. Amazing stuff! It knocks you out though. Slade was pretty much on his own yesterday, and boy can little babies make a mess when unsupervised!

After finally being able to hold down water and pedialite ice pops (they are good!) I finally got to eat a cracker or two, and eventually move onto toast and applesauce.

I lost a total of 5lbs!

I'm feeling much better today, not as nauseous, but still very weak. I don't recommend contracting novovirus, ever. I would have rather been in labor than go through what I did the past 48 hours. That's saying something because I had the worst, most painful natural birth.

Oh, some of you might have been mislead by my title thinking this post would be on the gender test I was supposed to be taking today...

Well, I did take it! If the results are right like they were with Slade...he's going to have a little SISTER!
